Zionism is modern fascism

The European Union – including Finland – unreservedly supports a state that not only carries out the most brazen genocide in modern history, but is in danger of collapsing into a far-right dictatorship.

Many of us know or know Zionism only as an ideology born in the 1800th century by European Jews, whose core is the establishment of the state of Israel for all the Jews of the world.

Perhaps we also remember Theodor Herzl, the Austro-Hungarian journalist who formulated the principles of Zionism in his work Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State) published in 1896. Herzl's idea was that only in their own state could Jews live in peace without the anti-Semitic persecutions that Jews had suffered in Europe for centuries.

Herzl encouraged Jews to buy land in Palestine, although he also considered Argentina and Uganda (Hitler later considered Madagascar). In 1906, however, Palestine was confirmed as the goal - and the fruits of that decision are still being enjoyed today.

The Zionist lobby softened British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to make Palestine the homeland of the Jews in 1917. Between the wars, the Israel project did not advance and because Adolf Hitler's forces never conquered Palestine for some reason - they probably had the ability - after the wars, Zionism was the dominant ideology of the Jews of Palestine. among.

Britain lost interest in Palestine when it had to focus on repairing the war damage at home. The State of Israel was established with the gracious permission of the British on May 14.5.1948, XNUMX, on a land that was mainly inhabited by non-Jewish Palestinians. At that time, Palestine was divided into two parts, which did not please the Zionists, but they agreed to it as a tactical temporary solution.

Historically, Zionists have not formed a unanimous group (thinking of today's Israel, it is ironic that in the early stages of Zionism, quite left-wing ideas circulated around it, such as kibbutzim, where all private property was forbidden), but those worried about the power of Zionism, especially today, consider differences within the ideology to be unimportant.

Racism, superiority

Between 1975 and 1991, there was a UN General Assembly resolution that declared Zionism racist because Israel refused to recognize Ethiopian Jews as eligible for the same rights as lighter-skinned Jews.

The current legislation in Israel has not been formally decided by any Zionist organization, but by the majority of the country's political parties. Although their mutual relations are quite contentious, they agree to a certain extent on the central principles of Zionist politics. According to the opponents of Zionism, the ideology is fascist because it is based on stark racism, including the belief in the superiority of the Jews among the nations of the world.

Zionism's reputation as a fascist ideology is not only created by the current government of Benjamin Netanyahu. Already during the British rule, Ze'ev Jabotinsky's so-called revisionists called for the establishment of a Jewish army to force the British to accept Zionist aims. At that time, the leftist Labor Zionists considered Jabotinsky's group to be fascist, i.e. modeled after Benito Mussolini's regime.

The holocaust card is played for the critics

It is not possible to analyze the ideological development of Zionism in more detail here, but at least in Finland the term "Zionism" is not exactly used in connection with Israel. In the spirit of the Winter War in Finland, Israel was considered to be some kind of fellow-destined. The tickets also have the same colors. Christians who obsessively follow and admire the Bible also started to be fans of Israel, in which most of the so-called "holy sites" are.

Zionism has not been publicly criticized also because the Zionists' own propaganda machine - one of the world's greatest ever - has always made sure that criticism of Zionism is also quickly declared, ignoring the facts, as a form of anti-Semitism.

Often the so-called the holocaust card, with the help of which the Europeans' bad conscience has been transformed into uncritical support for Israel and, at the same time, Zionism. This has been seen especially in Germany, but also in the former ruler of Palestine, Great Britain and France, where post-colonial immigration from the Arab countries of North Africa has led the regime to unconditionally support Zionism.

The same propaganda machine has also been effective in silencing any discussion in Europe or the United States regarding the Israeli state's violence against Palestinians, which has continued unabated since 1948.

Features of modern fascism

Is Zionism fascism in a modern form? This can be argued on many grounds. It is not just about some principles written into the state form and laws, but about the ways of relating to Jews on the one hand, and non-Jews on the other, permeating the entire society.

In the following, I will briefly go through a few features that I think justify talking about the ideology that dominates the majority of Israeli parties as modern fascism. I will not discuss further here whether Zionism is more similar to Hitler's or Mussolini's practical applications. However, most comparisons I have come across link Netanyahu to Hitler. This was also the view of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the US NATO ally of Turkey, in December 2023, when he stated that Netanyahu's actions in Gaza are no different from Hitler's actions towards the Jews of Europe.

*Extreme right-wing

Sometimes in the 1960s and 1970s, parties leaning towards the political center and the left were still represented in the Knesset in the Israeli parliament. Today, none of the parties in the Knesset are considered left-wing, although the extreme right led by Netanyahu has slightly more moderate rivals. In the light of a completely unscientific comparison, the most right-wing of the Finnish parties, the Kokoomus and the Basic Finns, would represent the moderate center in the Knesset. Especially Netanyahu's governments have been happy to fraternize with right-wing autocrats, but the gaps are across most of the so-called in the direction of left-wing states.

*Racism & apartheid

Zionism is based on the monopoly of Judaism and the idea of racial superiority. Neither feature is emphasized in the propaganda, but it has been noticed over the years by all non-Jewish groups in Israel, and especially by the few non-Jews who have sought to immigrate to Israel from Africa for work. Black people are viewed as openly racist. Israel has denied claims of apartheid, but based on numerous testimonies, non-Jews do not have the same rights, not even human rights, as Jews in the state of Israel. During conflicts, the otherwise shaky human rights disappear completely and Palestinians in particular are treated arbitrarily. Today, open hostility is directed not only at Muslims, but also at Christian churches operating legally in Israel. In Gaza, church buildings of all religions have been bombed evenly on the ground. Finnish readers are offered Israel's apartheid system in Syksy Räsänen's excellent information package Israeli apartheid (Into 2017).

*Rough stuff

In Europe, fascism was inextricably linked to open violence in public places, prisons and prison camps. In Israel today, violence is directed towards all those who oppose Netanyahu's policies, and this includes both the heavily armed police and the even more heavily armed army (IDF), but also the armed settlers who are rampaging without any control, which can be considered the equivalent of Hitler's brown shirts (Sturmabteilung, SA), i.e. paramilitary street patrols. Throughout its existence, Israel has also had a very strong secret service, the Mossad, which is responsible for dozens of assassinations and kidnappings.

*Nationalism

Although Israel is not - at least not yet - an ethnically pure Jewish state, it behaves in international contexts in a flag-waving nationalistic manner. A mythical history has been built for the state of Israel, following the model of Hitler's Nazis, even though objective researchers do not recognize the nationalistic features drawn directly from the events of thousands of years ago to the present day. Although there are also Palestinian Jews living in Israel, the great majority are immigrants from Europe and the United States and their heirs, who have no historical connection to Palestine. The myth of Israel as the homeland of the Jews is also based on religious arguments. Many Jewish religious extremist organizations consider Zionism an enemy of Judaism because it conflates religion and secular power into nationalist hate speech.

*Militarism

In Israel, both men and women are conscription. Military service for men lasts 3 years, for women 21 months. All reservists under the age of 51 are in the service of the army for up to 39 days each year. In the lives of Israelis, war and militaristic elements are constantly close by, both due to active conflicts and occasional rockets from the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements. Israel also has its own nuclear weapon, although it does not officially admit to having one. Israel is also not part of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and does not allow IAEA inspectors into the country.

*Imperialist drive for expansion

Both civilians and soldiers strive for territorial expansion in Israel. On the civil side, the key is to promote the so-called settlement by settlers, i.e. usually foreign immigrants, in Palestinian owned and inhabited areas in the West Bank, which is part of Palestine, not Israel. The idea is that the entire West Bank will be turned into a part of the state of Israel. The ongoing war of extermination and genocide in Gaza, on the other hand, is an example of the use of military power, with the help of which Israel has actively expanded the territory that the British administration handed over to the Jewish state of Israel.

The so-called 1967 in the six-day war, Israel seized Gaza and the West Bank and the Golan Heights from Syria and the Sinai desert from Egypt. In 1982, Israel captured Beirut and most of southern Lebanon, but was later forced to relinquish these areas. Greater Israel is an integral part of Zionist thinking, although it is difficult to know how far beyond the current borders its current goals extend. Probably, however, a large part of Lebanon, Syria and Egypt are part of the plans.

*The dictatorial practices of the administration

Concerns about Israel's transformation from an electoral democracy to an openly authoritarian racist state have increased with the actions of Netanyahu's latest government. The war of destruction in Gaza has already proven that Israel does not respect any international agreements and does not care at all about the reputational damage caused by the brutal murder of Palestinians. The administration's harsh measures towards Israel's own Jewish citizens also raise the danger that Netanyahu will no longer organize elections, as a result of which his government, which operates with a very narrow majority, could have to resign.

So far, Netanyahu has acted like Hitler before the full coup and the abolition of democratic institutions. Netanyahu has appeared in public very arrogantly and mocking the opinions of the world. The background is the trust that the Zionist lobby in the United States controls the government there and the United States, in turn, considers the other so-called Western countries under control. It also seems that the police and the army are behind the government's hard line. On the other hand, this has not yet been actually tested in a real situation.

Last moment to open your eyes

Maybe even during this year 2024, we will see if Israel turns into an openly fascist police state, where democratic elections are "for now" postponed, like in Ukraine.

No person who follows things can claim that there is no way to guess what is happening in Israel. Because all this has happened, albeit in slightly different forms, the last time at least in 1930s Germany. Fascism does not fit into Jewish traditional culture, but it is a natural headache and military guide for Zionism.

It also does not matter that the EU unreservedly supports a state that, apart from carrying out the most brazen genocide in modern history, is in danger of collapsing into an extreme right-wing dictatorship. Within the EU, there are similar parties and groups in many countries, both in government responsibility (Italy, Hungary) and as a strong opposition (Germany, France).

Finland also has a very right-wing government in power, which does not seem to have any problems supporting racist Israel. On the contrary, Israel is an important arms trade partner for Finland, just as it has been during many silent decades (Tampella's secret arms trade with Israel was managed and enriched by Shlomo Zabludowicz, an international arms dealer).

Turning a blind eye to Israel's Zionist fascination with a fascist regime is historically based on the active use of the Holocaust to ward off all criticism. Now is the last moment to open your eyes and admit that you cannot support the state of Israel without at the same time supporting the ideology that "everyone" swore died with the defeat of Hitler's Germany.

The same can be said about the neo-Nazis who play a significant role in Ukraine, who have been tried to belittle in the Western media even before the war escalated. One should not imagine that fascism will not take everything else if it is given the little finger under any pretext. Europe is reforming the terrible mistakes it made in the 1930s. You have to be able to prevent it.

The most important thing is to dare to say out loud that Zionism is a dangerous ideology and to start isolating the state of Israel internationally. In the UN votes, this has already happened to a large extent only when the US blocked the resolutions condemning Israel's actions.

But UN votes are not enough. The EU must state out loud that it cannot work with a fascist-ruled Israel and end both diplomatic, cultural and economic relations at the same time as ending all military cooperation. The EU could start by throwing Israel, located in the Middle East, out of Eurovision.

  1. ZIONISTS TRY FOR WORLD POWER
The Jewish aspiration for world power and the weakening of other nations is also evident from Dr. Max Mandelstamm's opening speech at the Basel Zionist Conference on August 29.8.1897, 3.9.1897 (Le Temps, September 3, 2001): "The Jews must use all means and all their power to prevent the rise and success of all other nations in order to achieve our historical goal, i.e. world power.” Zionists support the immigration of Africans and Arabs to European countries, but not to Israel. Israel only accepts genetic Jews as immigrants. The goal of the Zionists is to weaken European nations specifically through immigration. We see this happening clearly in Sweden, where immigration has become a serious problem. EU countries and the USA support Israel in the Gaza genocide. Israel does not care about the US decision to allow humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in Gaza. “Every time we do something, we are warned that America will punish us for it. Remember: There is no need to fear that the United States will put pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, rule America and the Americans know it too.” Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon October XNUMX, XNUMX. Kol Yisrael radio. Zionism is pure international racism.
